The Access Across America series evaluates accessibility in major U.S. metropolitan areas. Reports are published for auto, transit, and bike accessibility. As of 2015, work is funded under the National Accessibility Evaluation pooled-fund study.

National Accessibility Evaluation Pooled-Fund Study

This NCHRP pooled-fund project, led by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, measures accessibility to jobs across the entire U.S.

Previous Studies

The Access to Destinations study was a multi-phase effort incorporating theoretical as well as practical research and including researchers from a variety of fields.

The Transportation and Regional Growth study was an effort to better understand the linkages among land use, community development, and transportation in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

The Accessibility Observatory is a program of the Center for Transportation Studies.
